up for consideration is a large figural Antique French Castellane Champagne Bottle double sided advertising sign. The sign stands about 54 inches in height by about 15 inches wide and stands out about 8 inches. The depth includes the stainless steel frame which allows one to show the piece as a double sided figural bottle or stand out a bit with a more 2 dimensional form. The sign was made as an indoor display it is made of painted Leather and wood and exactly like the old bottle one could purchase. The sign is double side with slightly curved on each side. It mounts with a depth of about 8 inches. Likewise you can mount it on an angle and it appears to swivel a bit you decide...It really is a great piece and who doesn't like Champagne... This is a great prop for a Restaurant Bar Man Cave or Studio. It so Ritzy and unique...probably done in the 1930's - 50's or so. It is well done...a bit worn but has aged well. \ Company History: Founded in Epernay France by Viscount Florens de Castellane in 1895, the champagne house De Castellane adopted the red diagonal Cross of Saint Andrew as the emblem of his brand in tribute to the oldest regiment of Champagne; the champagne became popular during the Belle Epoque period and is still considered a premium brand today (now under the ownership of Laurent-Perrier).
