19th C. Antique Etagere Pier Mirror All Carved Wood Nouveau Italian Renaissance

Up for consideration is an incredible turn of the Century hand carved wood
naturalistic Palatial Pier Mirror, Etagere, Stand or entrance way piece. It stands about 107 inches in height with a width of 56 inches and a depth of 16 inches. The piece consists of hand carved features that are modelled after a variety of Flora and Fauna. There are Palm leaves up top with a carved Mother bird tending to her nesting fledglings. Shelves made of stylized bent reeds all hand carved wood...and lifelike. There are Cattails and other flowers that I can not name...and a dragon all resting on bun feet at the base. The curved reservoir at the bottom probably had a tin liner that may have been used as a planter... Please understand that these sort of pieces do not enter the market very often and when they do they command some serious prices. Please read the condition report above.
