Description: For sale is a truly unique and unusual old envelope with stamps, celebrating two different Royal Weddings, decades apart.

This vintage envelope was first used to commemorate the wedding of the Duke of Windsor (formerly King Edward VIII) and Mrs Wallis Warfield in Monts, France, on the 3rd of June, 1937. It has a French stamp and a clear postmark from that historic day.

Decades later, the very same envelope was used again to celebrate the wedding of Prince Charles (now King Charles III) and Mrs Camilla Parker Bowles. It features two Royal Mail stamps from their 2005 wedding, cancelled with the special "Royal Wedding 9 April 05 WINDSOR" postmark.

This process has created a fascinating piece of history on a single envelope, connecting two of the most significant royal weddings of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Condition: The envelope is in good vintage condition for its age. It shows some signs of handling and has two tape residue marks on the reverse side, as shown in the photos. The postmarks are clear and legible. Please review the photographs carefully for a full understanding of the item's condition.

A rare and fascinating item for the specialist collector of royal memorabilia or postal history.
