Hello thanks for tuning in. This is a 1951 Martin "45" 4.5 hp outboard motor in
original unrestored condition. Comes with original paint and decals...no stand. Appears to be in good condition...with decent compression with light overall wear. This looks like a 2 cylinder engine as there are 2 spark plugs. Looks clean in the engine compartment with the cover off see photos. It has been stored in an attached garage for decades. The fellow collect tether cars planes and old motors. So you know I only buy motors that come from homes where people looked after their things...usually motors as such need carburetor cleaning rebuilding etc...in order to run. I have sold quite a few over the years...However please understand it is being sold as is...that means you just can't just add gas and expect it to run.
