Vintage 1930s Geometry Book - Stamped St Thomas's High School, Stanmore

£ 12.49
A fascinating piece of local and educational history, this is an Oxford School
Certificate examination book for Geometry, with papers from 1929-1938.

This book's unique story comes from the clear rubber stamp marks inside from "St. Thomas's High School, Marsh Lane, Stanmore, Middx." Historical records show St. Thomas's was an independent school that was later annexed by St. James' School, Edgware, in 1949, making this a rare survivor from the original school.

The book offers a fantastic window into the pre-war British education system.

Condition: This textbook was clearly a well-used school resource. The internal pages are in good, clean condition for their age, with a small pencil tick found on one page.

Please note the cover's condition: the spine is heavily frayed and worn, and the back cover page (featuring a publisher's price list) has become detached from the staples but is still present with the book. This item is sold as a "well-loved" piece of history. Please see all photos for a clear understanding of its condition.
