Up for consideration is an extremely rare Trophy mount style antique alligator
hide mounted on a a solid long piece of felt. It measures about 71 inches by about 24 inches at it's widest point...it really is quite exciting with a wonderful old patina which is more of a brown then red...there is some wear but it is absolutely Tarzanny to me ! You really can't duplicate nature but you sure can display it's beauty. Such an Old World item that would surely add to ones decor... Well as you can see from my display of enthusiasm... I am from the Michigan area so yeah this is a real interesting artifact however I am sure down South these may have been slightly less difficult to encounter...I have been involved in many things but this is the first antique old alligator hide as such of which I have encountered...please see photos as part of the description...
