Wakizashi. The blade measures without the tang 20.75 inches and total length of sword without scabbard is 28.75 inches. Please see photos as part of the description. There are two holes in the tang but no Japanese character writing or marks. The blade has a variety of chips and nicks all along the sharp blade edge. markings on the tang.
