Up for consideration is a very interesting Neo-Classical Italian Scagliola round
Side Table with Bronze Lyre base. It measures about 20 inches in height by about 24.5 inches in diameter. The top is made to look like pietra dura or hard inlaid stone however it is a different technique called Scagliola which looks like pietra dura but is a less expensive technique that is actually a buildup of materials that are painted on to look like marble...There is some minor wear on the edge and a round white spot near the center. One can enjoy the table as such or touch it up. The base is really a work of art. It is cast bronze and a heavy thick musical lyre. It dates from about the turn of the Century.
