Released in 2000 as part of the "Home for the Holidays" collection, this rare, oversized piece is both a functional cookie jar and a magnificent holiday centerpiece.Richly detailed and beautifully hand-painted, this stunning ceramic jar features a crowned nutcracker king holding a sword dressed in vibrant red, royal blue, and brilliant gold accents.The nutcracker is surrounded by sculpted holiday scenes including toy soldiers, festive florals, swans, and ornate scrollwork at the base. The reverse showcases a charming European-style village house with warm window detailing, along with additional soldier and elephant accents.•16" tall, approx 10" wide with a 9 1/2" base diameterImperfections found. There is a small nick on the back at the rim along with an areas of red paint loss. The underside of lid has an area with small chips and the sword has a long scratch. All shown in pictures.Despite these imperfections it still displays beautifully. Friendly reminder that vintage items may have imperfections due to age, previous use, or manufacturing blemishes consistent with the era of their origin.
