This hand-painted ceramic crock features an all-over red sponge pattern and a
detailed primitive folk-art black hen on the front.It makes the perfect countertop sugar bowl, jam/honey pot, salt cellar, or small dry-goods canister.DETAILS:• Material: Glazed ceramic / stoneware• Design: Hand-painted black chicken framed by an all-over red sponge-painted pattern• Condition: Good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Crazing is present on the interior bottom (shown in last picture).• Approximate Dimensions: 4¾" tall (including the lid) with a 4¼" top diameter.
