up for consideration is a vtg Frederick Cooper or Chapman French Bouillette lamp in the Hollywood Regency. It measures about 25 inches in height by about 8 inches deep and has an adjustable shade. The shade it self is not tin but some sort of parchment and like many things is in a state of beautiful decay. There is some heavy craquelure on the backside of the shade near the socket. It appears to be stable...however one may want to reinforce it with something or use this example as means for creating an new shade with a lyre on it. So what I saying is that more often or not it is a great staging piece however I wouldn't want it as a lamp that kids are touching and using daily or adults either...they are just as bad! Like all these French style lamps the shades are attached to stem of which one can adjust up or down...overall it is a unique piece.
