This is an antique brass hanging oil lamp or chandelier shade ring. Nice design.
It does have a little roughness but can easily be straightened. There is one small crack along the edge but not very noticeable. It measures just over 14" and has holes for 34 prisms. I purchased a partial estate of a well known high end lighting collector. Everything from early oil, to gas, to early electric. The whole history. There are hundreds of oil lamps and shades and THOUSANDS of parts, pieces and PRISMS. Tucked away all these years, not to be appreciated. I am not a collector. But I am very happy to return these fine items back into the hands of those that can appreciate them so much more. The craftsmanship of some of these items is amazing. You can't find that now.
