up for consideration is a vintage hand painted historical early Motor Buggy or
automobile illustration by renowned illustrator and artist Howard Rogers (1932-). The painting without the frame measures 28 inches in length by 19 inches in height with the overall dimensions of the custom aluminum frame being 30 by 42 inches. This works shows what looks like 1909 or 1910 Sears Model K Motor Buggy. This is a historical illustration meaning it was probably done in the late 60's or 70's as a Nostalgic / Retrospective work done for a client. According to Roger's Biography he moved to Detroit and worked as an illustrator for the major automotive companies. After Leaving Detroit he went on to do cover art for magazines ads..etc. for paperbacks...then when on to a successful career as an artist painting Nudes and Western Art. This comes from an old clean estate and has been behind plexiglass for decades. The plexiglass has been discarded.
