up for consideration is a very interesting and well constructed 19th Century Antique paneled what looks like a Court Room witness stand. The piece measures 48 inches in length by 28 inches in depth with a height of 34 inches in height. The piece is demi-lune in shape and is finished as to be appreciated from 360 degrees. It is my contention that the piece is part of 19th courtroom witness stand...it looks to have a foot rest at one side and also on the inside. It has several layers or paint and one can see that it fairly well made with square nails and a true paneled design. To say these least it really is quite a sophisticated piece.
