Up for consideration is a fine Antique "Old Plantation Distilling Co." Schafer & Vater porcelain advertising souvenir jug from sunny California. The piece stands about 6.5 inches in height. There are no chips cracks or visible repairs. It is marked on the bottom and on the back under the handle. According to the historical record the jug had a stopper.
