Up for consideration is a very rare prototype "Boltlamp by Bud". It is heavy Chromed metal Industrial Style Mid Century Modern figural lamp in the form of a Nut and Bolt...If you turn the bolt the bulb lights up and or dims down depending on which way you turn. It has a large paper label "BoltLamp by Bud" the electronics division of Plasteel appears to be the manufacturer...and it says Pat Pend. Purchased from an eccentric old collector's estate just outside of Detroit Michigan...piece is in excellent condition...It stands about 17 inches in height including the bulb about 10.5 inches high and 8 inches wide at the base...can't find a thing about it anywhere in the historical record. This might be the only one or perhaps a few were made to test the market. It is shiney chrome, it is fairly weighty and is of excellent quality...and of course truly unique... if you have any questions or concerns please message me...
