Up for consideration is very old hand painted advertising sign for Blue-winged
Parrakeet "budgie" Australia. It measures 7 by 14 inches and looks to be from the 1920's or 30's or even earlier...this rare old sign may have come from an old pet store...here in the US from a smaller touring farm or Zoo. This probably was mounted on the outside of the cage...It is painted by hand and is actually quite well...with great attention to detail to the bird...the colors are muted as there is some old patina...it is just a great old authentic sign... Americans call these budgies which is short for budgerigar which is Australian Native translation for "good eating". If you have any questions or something to share please message me...Buyer pays shipping. Please be safe out there... Warmest Regards,JohnnyJohnnyCrystal Est. 1987
