up for consideration is a fine early 20th Century Northern Plains pipe bag. It measures without the strap 7 inches. Each side has a different beadwork. One side of the main bead work is green with a central diamond cartouche...on the other side is green beads with 4 yellow crosses. Please note that that whole area in middle of beadwork is a sort of strands of interwoven bead work. That means one can almost look through it ...in short there is no doe skin backing that portion. There are 2 loops or handles at the top and some shorter fringe at the bottom. Please check out my other listings as I have a few other pieces...listed.
