This is a vintage Robinson Ransbottom RRPCO cuspidor or spittoon with a mirror
brown glaze and embossing on the side. It is difficult to make out but the under side of the piece is marked RRPCO, Zanesville Ohio.The piece measures approximately 4 1/2" tall, 5 5/8" in diameter at the base and 7 1/2" opening diameter.There are some manufacturing imperfections and a couple of flakes on the glaze as well as some wear on the rim.
