This antique half gallon stoneware crock features a beautiful deep chocolate
brown Albany slip glaze. It has a traditional cylindrical shape with a thick, rounded rim and a raw unglazed base. It is 6 1/2" tall with a 5 3/8" top diameter. Imperfections in both the glazing and stoneware are present. There is a stable hairline crack on the rim extending approx 1" down on the interior and 2" down on the exterior (shown in last 2 pictures). The piece remains structurally sound and displays beautifully.Friendly reminder that vintage items may have imperfections due to age, previous use, or manufacturing blemishes consistent with the era of their origin.
