Ronald Wilson Reagan 40th President of the United States of America

This is an original Ronald Reagan gift jelly bean jar with a white presidential seal and President Reagan's facsimile signature. It measures approximately four inches in diameter and stands six inches tall with the lid. It does NOT include the original box with a red insert. This is a very hard-to-find Reagan gift item from the Reagan White House. It is in very god used condition. President Reagan is famous for having his favorite snack on hand. Even after becoming president, Reagan's fondness for Jelly Bellies didn't diminish, and large colorful jars of them were often prominently displayed on his desk in the Oval Office, Cabinet Room, and Air Force One.

In 1981, three-and-a-half tons of Jelly Belly beans were shipped to Washington, D.C. for Ronald Reagan’s inauguration. Blueberry, one of today's most popular flavors, was developed to have patriotic red, white, and blue jelly beans at the festivities.
