This eagle crest handled pitcher and 4 cups was made by Napcoware in Japan. Each
has an eagle crest image on one of it's sides. They are textured and painted to appear as faux wood. The painted areas are unglazed while the rims and insides are glazed. All of the pieces are in good vintage condition. No chips. The pitcher has what appears to be a small hairline crack near the rim (shown in picture). Most of the pieces have crazing on the rims and insides. The silver sticker on bottoms (except missing from 1 cup) reads National Potteries Co. Cleveland, O. Made in Japan. Stamped on the bottom is Napcoware C7202. The pitcher is 6 1/2" tall, spout to handle measures 6" with a 3" opening. Base diameter is 4 1/4" The cups are 3 1/2" tall with a 2 1/2" diameter.Friendly reminder that vintage items often have some imperfections due to age, previous use, or manufacturing blemishes consistent with the era of their origin.
