Large Pair Antique Caldwell era Spanish Revival Iron Silverplate Mantel Lamps

Hello and thanks for your interest...up for approval is a wonderful pair of
1920's Spanish Revival Mantel Lamps attributed to E.F Caldwell of NY. THe lamps including the shades measure about 24 inches in height with a width of 11 inches or so. These have wonderful draped appliques at the top with some hammered and painted foilage at the bottom with a combination of twisted and cast silverplated embellishments at the base...the base being black marble. The sockets are upscale early bryant pull chains with extended candle covers...please understand that these are not small and cheezy they are just the right size. Large and Fuerte or Robust yet elegant and stylish...furthermore they sport their original finish paint...so often things got painted gold over and over through the years...so it is quite refreshing to find a pair with nice old as intended coloration...in fact these are so good you literally have to go over them twice to make sure that they are what they appear to be...as with many estates large old homes had plenty of space to store away things when styles changed.
