Up for sale is a beautiful vintage set of 5 Japanese ceramic dipping / condiment bowls manufactured by Utsuwa-No-Yakata. Each bowl features a unique, rich colored glaze with a highly detailed, embossed aquatic creature design pressed into the bottom. When filled with soy sauce, ponzu, or oils, the liquid pools into the recesses to beautifully highlight the shapes of the sea creatures. The undersides feature an attractive, uniform pressed swirl texture inside the unglazed foot rings. Included in the Set (5 Bowls Total):
