Up for consideration is an extremely rare pair of giltwood and metal
E.F.Caldwell Large Federal Style Wall Sconces. The sconces stand 34.5 inches by about 12.75 inches wide with a depth of 7 inches. The sconces are stamped with their company logo of a "C" within a Lozenge please see photos. They also sport the old Union Made paper label. The sconces are great I have been in business for decades and have never encountered wooden wall Sconces by Caldwell. Each have a perched eagle with chains in it's mouth that hang down and culminate in dangling spheres as seen in the photos. The wiring funtioned fine as they were removed directly from the estate.
