Up for consideration is an original Wisconsin Landscape painting of a fishing
cabin by listed artist H.J.Stoltenberg (1879-1963). The painting alone measures 24 by 30 inches and is well done. It is signed lower right "H.J. Soltenberg". It is titled "Fishing Cabin Wisconsin" on the back as well a numbering for inventory. The painting really is well done... large with great subject matter set in a wonderful period frame. It really has a lot going for it with a great color palette and a mixture of atmospheric pastel tones in the background which contrasts nicely with the clear cabin and water part of the painting. Overall it displays well and is worthy of taking up a little room on the wall. Soltenberg's auction shows a steady increase in painting value over the last little while.
