Yes another painting same old collection...up for consideration is a European
Genre painting oil on canvas laid on board in original period frame. The painting much like these genre scenes depicts just about everything one could think of a dog young children mountains valleys...boats old people young people a baby an attentive dog...etc. It measure without the frame about 15.25 by 17 inches and overall dimensions being 20.75 by 21.5. Please read above for a report on the description. The artist can be found in some of the European auction sales of which there is no biography. Likewise only a small watercolor was sold some time ago. The painting itself is fairly well done show some skills. These type of painting run the gambit from terrible to Masterpieces...this one is mid level with proportional subject face and hands that are well done and the overall feeling is that it is believable...trust me I have seen a lot of art some of which are comical and this one is pretty good.
