This charming "Love Bug" ceramic shaker designed by illustrator Ruth Bendel (Van
Tellingen) for Regal China, circa 1940s-1950s was originally part of a 2-piece hugging shaker set. It features an anthropomorphic caterpillar in burgundy/red and cream with a glazed finish. The cork stopper on the bottom appears intact. I was unable to remove and didnt want to force removal. Free from chips, cracks, and crazing. Measures 4 1/4" tall with a 2 1/4" width and 3" depth.Friendly reminder that vintage items may have imperfections due to age, previous use, or manufacturing blemishes consistent with the era of their origin.
