Up for consideration is a very unusual and extremely rare pair Girandoles with original thin distressed mirrors. They measure 21.75 inches wide with the arms swung out by 11 inches in height. There are 3 small pegs meant to hold a few things. One peg is damaged beyond...The arms are ribbed and swivel in and out. The sconces are supported by metal fasteners that hold a wire for mounting. These are from the same time era as the gilt convex girandoles with Eagles on top. One can scour the internet and past sales and there appears to be nothing that matches. The look like a pair of spectacles or eye glasses. They date from about 1830's 40's. If you have any questions or something to share please message me... Please see photos as part of the description.
