This vintage West Rindge woven wood basket handcrafted by West Rindge Baskets,
Inc. in Rindge, New Hampshire includes its original wooden interior pie tray/riser insert. This dual-level design was traditionally used to safely transport two pies without crushing them, or to separate delicate items during a picnic.Details:•Maker: West Rindge Baskets Inc., Rindge NH•Includes the original removable wood shelf/insert and features double swing handles for easy and sturdy carrying•Approx dimensions: 13" x 13 x 8"•Condition: Overall in good vintage condition. There is a broken, chipped edge on one top horizontal wood slat with a small section missing (shown best in last picture). The weave remains tightly interlocked and structurally sound. The original metal lid clasp is fully intact and secures tightly. The swivel wooden handles move smoothly and are securely attached with original rivets. The interior is clean and odor-free.•Perfect for farmhouse kitchen storage, cottagecore home decor, vintage picnics, or as a standout piece for basket collectors.
