Up for consideration is a Vintage original Marbro Large Oriental Lamp with
Bronze artist signed Vase. The lamp has an adjuster at the top so the height varies slightly possibly going up to 36 inches. The body of the lamp is made of a bronze Japanese Vase that is artist signed. It sports a Sparrow and a young Spring time foliage. This traditional form and size of this lamp fits right into the minimalistic clean no frills lines often in Mid Century modern design. The metal base and assembly above the vase are a silver plated metal which has become a bit spotty in the oxidization process...that means there are a few areas of discoloration and some heavy fading to the plating on the back side of the base. That is just how it is...when you have been around for 55 or 65 years. It really doesn't distract form overall slender smooth no frills minimalistic design of which sports Organic Japanese motifs that never go out of style. Please see photos as part of the description.
