A fun and funky hand crafted wool Patchwork rug from 1971.Constructed of patches of wool (possibly an old wool army blanket) with a design
that reminds us of flower petals, each of which is hand stitched in various colored yarn.The center of the rug is a navy blue wool section with blue, grey and green patches, each hand stocked, placed to resemble a flower. The rug is also stitched 1971 in the center.Rug measures 39” x 21”In overall good vintage condition. With some signs of wear to the wool and some fraying of the edges of some petals.The backing of this rug is a burlap bag.An interesting little rug that will be a wonderful addition to your cottage chic or shabby chic decor.
