Up for consideration is fine set of E.F. Caldwell Silvered Bronze Georgian
finely cast large scale Wall sconces. They measure 15 inches in height with a width of about 7 inches. They have their mounting bars and a small hole to hold them safely near the top. These are early pre code sconces dating from about the turn of the Century. The casting is second to none and they sport mold and identification part numbers on the back side. There looks to be a faint mark of the lozenge with the c mark. Please understand Caldwell made runs of sconces or brackets and of which some sconces had good crisp marks others do not. Likewise they were also marked on the fiber board that was doubled as a shield between metal and your wall paper or paint. I have examples I bought from the same estate with marks as such. These come from the Benjamin Seigel Estate from the Boston Edison District in Detroit. A 13,000 sq ft Mansion built some time ago and still standing...If you have any questions, or something to share feel free to message me. Please see photos as part of the decription. Thanks and be safe out there !!!Best Regards, JohnnyJohnnyCrystal Est. 1987
