We have before us a wonderful 1920's colorful large Antique Dollhouse. Overall
dimensions are 48 inches long with a height of 42 inches...it rest on a large piece of wood that measures 48 by 42 inches. The front roof opens on both sides meaning the left and right side...the roof itself is attached to the house and there is no access through the roof on the back side. A Gilt Bronze basket of fruit appliques are on both sides of the interior doors...there is a winged angel applied to the house and removable porch stairs on the front side also. Furthermore the front wall has stained glass windows etc in which the entire wall is removable. It is held in place by 2 latch hooks. On the inside wall and floors the interior is decorated with highend Goldwork / Stump and metal thread embroidery. In fact the whole interior of the house is decorated with curtains etc...At the back of the house there is a scenic pond field etc with a variety of swans and ducks painted as a mural on the back of the house...The 2 panel open up and show 2 interior mirrors that cover floor to ceiling...there are a variety of silk and metal thread items in the estate. This really is a colorful upbeat pastel colored doll house that has great curb appeal. It dates from about the late teens to about the late 20's. Please see photos as part of the description.
