Up for consideration is a vintage Still life depicting a floral arrangement in a
vase with porcelain figurine of a Mexican man resting on a table top. The oil painting without the frame measures 15.75 by 13.5 inches and is in remarkable condition. It is signed "Faith Ramsay Frederick" who was an American artist. She was born in Michigan on Dec. 13, 1886. Faith Frederick appears to have moved to California at an early age. She studied at Otis Art Institute under Rich, Zornes, Mugnaini, and Buff. Her landscapes are similar to those of Manuel Valencia. A spinster, she died in Torrance, CA on Jan. 28, 1980.
