important Hopi carver Albin Kewanwytewa. He is a featured and listed Hopi carver in Gregory Schaaf's publication: "Hopi Katsina: 1,600 Artist Biographies" (page 161-162). He is the paternal grandson of Jimmy Kewanwytewa, a highly awarded carver active from the 1910s up until the year of his death in 1966, and the son of Warren Kewanwytewa, another noted Hopi carver, active from 1950-present.
