This vintage McCoy Pottery piece features the iconic pink and blue stripe
pattern from the Stonecraft line. Please note that this is a "marriage" of two authentic McCoy pieces; the base and lid were originally manufactured for different items in the collection but have been paired together. The base is the 0164 soup tureen, while the solid lid is likely from the matching bean pot or canister. Because they are not an original match, the lid sits with a slight wobble rather than a snug, flush fit. Both pieces have crazing. One handle on the tureen has a chip. The area retains its gloss so its possible it is a manufacturing blemish. This is shown best in last picture. It is 7" tall including the lid (5 1/4" tall without lid) with a 7 1/2" diameter and 9 1/4" handle to handle.Friendly reminder that vintage items may have imperfections due to age, previous use, or manufacturing blemishes consistent with the era of their origin.
