by Paolo Fossi. The overall dimensions are 40 by 50 inches with the painting itself being maybe 30 by 40 with view being 27 by 38. The frame is pierced carved with shell motifs in original gilt work...there is a small piece missing...According to the record Fossi was a noted copyist who was commissioned to do works for other artists on occasion...a similar painting is in the record by a fellow Mossatto not sure who copied who or if this is the original that Fedrico Mazzotta copied..nonetheless the frame is hand carved and worth $2500f you have any questions or something to share please message me...buyer pays shipping as the painting is oversized it may have to be hand delivered ...free local and short distance delivery Best Regards,JohnnyJohnnyCrystal Est. 1987
