0665----1914 UMPIRE BILLY EVANS CLIPPINGS LOT -- UNUSUAL GAME SITUATIONS Original 1914 clippings from the Buffalo Express, featuring baseball umpire Billy Evans explaining unusual baseball plays.  These appeared daily, with the answer in the following day's issue.   There are 16 different in this lot. Some have the dates attached, but all are from February 1914. They measure approx 4.5 x 6 and are in good condition. I did not read them all, but noticed players such as Ty Cobb, Chief Bender, and Tris Speaker. Some are minor league and semi-pro plays.
