0668----1914 RUBE MARQUARD VAUDEVILLE CLIPPINGS THE SUFFRAGETTE PITCHER Original partial scrapbook page from The Buffalo Express, Feb 8, 1914, featuring the great baseball pitcher Rube Marquard appearing in a production of "The Suffragette Pitcher" at Shea's Vaudeville House in Buffalo. There are two ads and a preview article for the show. (I also notice a scuff mark where I assume was a ticket for this show that was removed.  Too bad it's gone) Expected discoloration from age, chips, wrinkles, etc Remains perfectly readable in acceptable condition. The back has unrelated newspaper attached. Measuring 8 x 7 We have been going through some old scrapbooks just purchased, and able to salvage loose clippings, partial newspaper pages, and other remnants of the period 1909-1914. * * * * * *
