Why Two Buckets?

The two-bucket method is the single most effective way to prevent swirl marks and wash scratches. One bucket holds your soapy wash water, the other holds clean rinse water. After each panel, rinse your mitt in the clean bucket (agitating against the grit guard to release dirt) before reloading with shampoo. Dirt stays in the rinse bucket — not on your paint.
