This is a recycled materials piece and part of a series on trees, inspired by Ansel Adams' photography. Bike tire tubes, fabric scraps, buttons, electrical wire, beads, sheet metal, mesh, plastic, vinyl records, etc. I wanted the piece to feel like the viewer was walking through an Aspen Grove. Lots of texture explodes from the canvas!!! Newspaper clippings fly through the storm clouds in the background of this piece. They are supposed to represent the turbulent times we live in.
