This is an authentic Dwight D. Eisenhower bill signing pen. This is an Esterbrook pen. The inscription "The President - The White House", measures 37mm in length. If you do some research on these you will find that there are 4 versions of these Esterbrook pens that were used in the White House for signing bills. The first was 34mm used by Truman. The next was a 37mm [length of the inscription] which was used by Eisenhower the third was the 40mm version used by JFK and then the 43mm version used by JFK and LBJ.

My reading indicates that several months before his death the JFK White House ran out of the 40mm versions and ordered a new batch. The inscription on the new batch was 43mm in length. Some of the 43mm versions were used by JFK, then the batch was passed on the LBJ which used several of them before ordering his own pens. The 37mm Eisenhower version Esterbrook pens are very rare.
