Per la terza generazione il team di professionisti Völkl con Alex Ferreira, Kevin Rolland e molti altri propone il Revolt con due diverse larghezze centrali. Il Revolt 84 è di tre millimetri più stretto e di conseguenza ancora più preciso da condurre. È soprattutto la costruzione con sciancratura modificata a rendere questo sci così ben direzionabile. Nel Revolt è integrata l’anima in legno Light Swingweight, che migliora sensibilmente la distribuzione del peso all’interno dello sci. Questa costruzione prevede alle estremità dello sci una riduzione del peso, che viene invece concentrato nella parte centrale; in questo modo lo sci si può ruotare in aria in maniera più semplice e soprattutto più controllata. Con il suo profilo camber completo, il Revolt 84 rappresenta lo sci ideale per l’halfpipe. La tensione costante garantisce il supporto ottimale su tutta la lunghezza: un vantaggio imbattibile sulle pareti del pipe, che a volte si presentano veramente dure. Nell’edizione di quest’anno di “Built Together” l’aspetto estetico, unico in tutto e per tutto, è curato dall’artista svizzero Benjamin Güdel. I suoi disegni si ritrovano anche in tutta la collezione di sci da freestyle.
