Antique Grand Canal Venetian Venice Scene Oil Painting Masterpiece signed

up for consideration is an incredible oil painting of the Grand Canal in Venice...it is signed in the lower right...it measures 24 x 28 inches. It has a wonderful old frame. The painting is top notch with no visible repairs. I cannot identify who the artist is however I have a feeling that it was possibly an artist using a pseudonym or ghost name.
