Antique Hand Carved St. Bernard Wood Sculpture Dog Italian German 7.5" Rescue

Up for consideration is fine old early hand carved model of St.Bernard Rescue Dog. He measures about 7.5 inches in length with a height by about 4.75 inches in height...there are initials "GSB" on the barrel. He is a bit dusty and could stand a cleaning. He is probably Austrian German or Italian in origins.
