Up for consideration is a circular footed hand painted porcelain powder jar or jewelry casket by Richard Klemm. The piece measures 4 inches in diameter with a height of 2.5 inches. It has a wonderful hand painted young beautiful woman in full dress sitting in outdoors. The box rests on 3 gilt paw feet culminating with 3 lion masks at knee with draping embellishments in somewhat French Empire form. The lid simply rests on top.
