Colorful antiqueOil Painting Portrait peasant big eyes signed J. Adler

Up for consideration is a vintage colorful portrait painting of a young big eyed girl probably from Eastern Europe...the painting is mid sized about 20 by 24 without the frame...it is signed J. Adler...of which there is a Jankel Adler and Jules Adler unfortunately  I do not believe this to be done by either...the signature and styles do not match. The good news is the painting stands on it's own merit... it is attractive with wonderful subject matter with gorgeous rich palette. Her eyes are mezmerizing and of course that is what it is all about...this is considered here in North American a regionalist meaning that no readily available history is available about the artist and of which they are more or less considered a local or regionalist.
