Pair 2 Antique French Italian Plant Stand Hanging Display Tole Courtyard 78x48"

Up for consideration is a very unusual pair of Italian or French highend figural plant or flower stands. The pair is characterized as having enameled floral embellishments along with fruit (pears) mimicking that of a pear tree.They stand about 78 inches in height with with a base length of 36 inches and a depth of 18 inches. These are probably from the 1930's or so would have held hanging potted plants...as each scrolled appendage would of doubled as a plant hook. The bottom has a trellis with scrolled floral vines of which is supported by bisecting support bars made of iron. It is my contention that a tin lined flat piece graced the bottom to hold more potted plants or a larger oval tin liner was used to hold soil for plants...nonetheless items as such are stunning unique and not easily found in the marketplace...these could have be more commercial in the sense they were used in Weddings and or celebratory events in retail shopping outlets, restaurants etc or in ones courtyard or covered area in the summering months. What is more important is that they can be enjoyed as such and used in some application that you see fit...you can't find items like this on demand and over decades of continuous buying I have yet to see another pair as such or even when googling around...  The main stem is all one piece. There is a round sphere on the bottom that when unscrewed allows the used to pull out the main armature leaving just the base as separate.
