RARE 10 page Hand painted Ad Brochure Youngmobiles 1968 Cutlass Olds 442 18/40

Up for consideration is an extremely Rare and important hand crafted, painted and or illustrated preproduction sales prototype brochure design of the 68 "Youngmobiles" from Oldsmobile. When folded in the close position in measures 8 x 10.5 inches. All pictures are illustrations hand painted originals from the Art Dept or Illustration Dept of Detroit Firm in the 1960 to be used as a sample by ad execs to finalize and pitch General Motor Olds Division the direction for advertising and what they had in mind for the 68 season in brochure advertising. One can see that there is no words just blank spaces and lines in place of words. In reality the Art work was laid out then space for information worked in at the next stage of development. Real Art this is truly unique...  In short Real Mad Men stuff! This is the type of work that truly should be included in books in a historical sense as they are priceless in that they really convey meaning of how things were done back in the day...with someone rolling up their sleeves and manually doing all the work by hand...it is top shelf. Likewise you don't see these pieces if at all because most were discarded...  This is a work that is done by hand by one of the firms here in Detroit probably in 1966. It was purchased from the estate of an original Detroit illustrator who did this.   Please understand I have about 40 pieces to present...
